Policy and Legislative Action
At the DARTEP meeting of October 2, 2009, the community voted unanimously to establish a subcommittee of members that would be research issues, changes, and new tidings affecting teacher education programs that come from the State Board of Education, the State Legislature, the Michigan Department of Education, and federal policy and legislation. This subcommittee would then disseminate information to the DARTEP membership, using both the email listserv and this website. The committee is also charged with recommending any action by DARTEP institutions.
